On this website you will find information about my work, current research and fields of interests, and some more information. Feel free to check out the content, but do not expect too much. The development of the website is in its initial stage.

research interests

I am member of the Geographic Information Visualization and Analysis (GIVA) Group at the Geography Department. Our focus is on the cognitive apsects of mulitmodal human wayfinding. Currently, we are working on three different topics:

  • 1. the modeling of space that lacks a network structure, such as train stations,
  • 2. the influence of landmarks on the wayfinding process, and
  • 3. the simulation of multimodal wayfinding based on the previous aspects.
